Privacy Policy

ASCENTI is an Australian AI consultancy based at 15–17 Millennium Circuit, Helensvale QLD 4212. This policy explains how we handle personal information, in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

When you send an enquiry or book a call, we collect the details you give us: your name, email address, organisation (if provided) and your message. If you book through our calendar, that provider also collects the details you enter there.

We do not collect payment information through this site, and we do not buy or sell personal data.

We use a privacy-first analytics tool that sets no cookies, does not track you across sites and collects nothing that identifies you. It tells us which pages are read and roughly where visitors come from, in aggregate.

We also use Google Analytics and the Meta pixel to understand how people find and move through this site, and to measure whether our advertising is working. These do set cookies, and they may be used to show you our advertising on Google, Facebook or Instagram after you have visited. What they record is behaviour on this site: pages viewed, how far you scrolled, whether you pressed a call-to-action, and whether you sent an enquiry or booked a call. We do not send them your name, your email address or anything you typed into a form.

You can opt out. Google publishes a browser add-on that blocks Google Analytics on every site, and both Google and Meta let you turn off personalised advertising in your account settings. Any tracker blocker or a browser's own protection will also stop these from loading, and the site works exactly the same without them.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are treated differently by default: advertising and analytics storage are switched off unless consent is given, so no advertising cookie is set and no profile is built.

We use your details to respond to your enquiry, arrange calls you have requested, and keep a record of our conversation. We do not add you to marketing lists without asking, and we do not share your details with third parties except the service providers that run our email, calendar and business systems.

We handle your data to Australian privacy standards. Enquiry details are stored in the business systems we use to run ASCENTI, with access limited to the people who need it to respond to you. Some of those systems are operated by providers outside Australia; if you want to know where a particular piece of information is held, ask us and we will tell you.

We do not use enquiry details you submit through this site to train AI models. Where we use AI tools in our own operations, we use enterprise rather than consumer platforms and check each provider's terms on training and retention rather than assuming them.

We hold ourselves to the standard we advise clients to adopt. If that ever stops being true, this page changes first.

You can ask us at any time what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Send the request through the enquiry form or by email and we will action it within a reasonable time.

If you have a question or a complaint about how we have handled your information, contact us and we will respond. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
